Luna

I was followed from Pennsburg to Graterford by an enormous waning gibbous in burnt orange, skimming the treetops and disappearing from time to time. Along Ciaro’s fields, right outside of Red Hill, it ran alongside me, but when I started down the hill by the reservoir it vanished altogether — until I rounded the curve above the dam, when it popped up right in front of me. It did that again on the Zieglerville roundabout after about ten miles of being now just behind me and now just ahead. From there to Graterford, now a little less orange and a little higher, it was placed above the trees and just to the left. It was a good moon drive.
